Monthly Blog Challenge #11 – Brown and Gold – Marion, Iowa Nature, Teen, Senior Photography
It’s month eleven of our blog series. I have joined up with a team of online photography friends and we have all been posting one or a series of photos once a month with a different color theme.
November’s theme is brown and/or gold/yellow. The first photo is of an acorn taken on a fence post out at Squaw Creek Park outside of Marion. It is one of my favorite places to shoot nature, family, child and senior photos. There are so many good spots and it is always beautiful there!
Another photo taken at Squaw Creek Park …
The next three photos are of my gorgeous niece Lily. We visited their house for Thanksgiving – had a great meal – and of course I talked her into posing for me. I love the gold top with the fall gold grasses. And of course her hair is a golden yellow too! She is a natural, don’t you think? I can’t wait to photograph her again next year! And the year after we’ll be taking her senior photos. I don’t know where all of the time goes – seems to me she was a little baby just a few short years ago.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog. I’d love it if you would leave a comment or two on these photos. And if you haven’t already signed up to receive email updates every time I update — you’re missing out — so sign up!
And I’d also appreciate it if you would continue clicking on the links of the photographers in the circle, starting with Renee Kellogg. Feel free to leave comments on their pages also – we all love the feedback. Check Renee’s blog for a link to the next photographer. Keep clicking and you will eventually end up back here! We’ve all been really busy this fall so if she hasn’t updated her blog yet – feel free to check out any of the other participators:
Stop by December 26th for our next blog challenge post featuring red and/or green, silver and/or gold.
