Monthly Blog Post Challenge #7 – Red, White and/or Blue – Baby, Toddler, Teen, Pet Photography in Marion, Iowa
It’s month seven of our blog series. I have joined up with a team of online photography friends and we will all be posting one or a series of photos once a month with a different color theme.
July’s theme is red, white & blue – any or all! My plan was to do some patriotic-themed photo shoots – but with all of the other sessions I had in July that just never happened. And don’t forget the heat – oh yes – the heat prevented me from working too hard!
First up – a photo of an adorable 4-month-old. She didn’t want to wake up for her session (don’t worry – we prodded her and harassed her until we finally managed to wake her up and get some great photos of her smiling!) More of her on the blog in a few weeks. But for now – soak up this sweetness …
Next up – this photo is from one of my favorite sessions so far this summer. This little guy was a little flirt for the camera and his grandma bought him some super cute clothes to wear while he was hamming it up!
It’s easy to love your job when you have clients who are as fun as this guy!
More of him on the blog in a week or two. Check back because you won’t want to miss the photo of him blowing a dandelion!
Now on to a photo of a gorgeous teenager. We had so much fun on her photo shoot. I can’t wait until next year when I take her senior photos. I hope she picks the “Model for a Day” session so we can spend several hours together. Isn’t she gorgeous?

And it wouldn’t hardly be a blog post by me if I didn’t at least force (I mean ask ♥) my daughter to pose for me. This time I promised she didn’t have to work too hard at it – she didn’t even have to put makeup on! Of course the dog was forced (I mean asked ♥) to wear a silly red and blue bow. But if you offer him enough treats he’ll pretty much do anything for you! We have so much fun with this little furball!
